The actual DROID MAXX 2, a phone that's been vulnerable to at least six months worth security exploits because it was first introduced due to Motorola and Verizon’s failures to apply the patches from Google, received its first update within the weekend to Android 6. 0 Marshmallow. Hooray with regard to security!
The update may arrive on MAXX two owner’s phones in 2 parts, first as software program version 23. 44. 3 prior to the important part (the Marshmallow part) turns up as 24. 64. four. After updating, the MAXX 2 will obtain access to Google Now on Faucet and Doze Mode (for much better battery life), see much better app permissions controls, utilize adoptable storage by having an SD card, and much more. It’s a big revise, one that should have shipped about the phone from day 1.
To check on for the update, go to Settings>About phone>System updates.
